| Walter has been performing as Santa since High School. Private parties and school functions and his fathers compy holiday party always had Walter in the big red suit leading carols and giving gifts. For four years he lead carols as Santa all over his college campus, heading a group of music majors from building to building. | FT Greene Brooklyn on December 13, 2004 Santa, Elves and Carolers from Frasier Productions were featured at the 3rd Annual Fulton Street Festival. Santa distributed donated toys and clothing and posed for photos with many area children. The group also traveled around in a trolley promoting the event in the morning and later leading sing alongs on the trolley full of families. Other performers included Grammy Nominated Jazz singer Carla Cook, The Black Cowboys giving rides around the neighborhood, and "Improv 4 kids!" performed their family improv show. Sponsors include: FAB and M-FAB (Fulton Biz Assoc.), Fleet Bank, Fulton First, Brooklyn Chamber of Commerce, Pratt Area Community Council, BAM local Development Corporation and dozens of local merchants A special thanks to the Cake Man - the city's best baker! His NYC #1 rated Red velvet cake made Santa a very Jolly Soul indeed! |
| More about the Artist Walter has been performing professionally for over 10 years. Credits include over 40 musical theatre productions including starring roles in 2nd National Tour of Scarlet Pimpernel, Music Man, Student Prince, World Premier of Fred Ho's Warrior Sisters, Rocky Horror Show and many productions of Fiddler (Including Gateway Playhouse LI). Opera Credits include lead Tenor roles in Boheme, Traviata, Butterfly, Rigoletto, Amahl, and over 20 concert roles in NYC, DC, AZ and Italy. Other credits include Shakespeare, dramatic theatre, church and concert soloist and section leader, cabaret, piano bar, modern dance company, TV, Film, and music video. Walter also teaches private singing and acting in NYC studios, directed 5 high school productions (musicals and shakespeare) and is Artistic Director for "Eight is Never Enough!", Sketch and Improv Musical Comedy. |
